Paintings

I thrive in abstraction and the physical nature of paintings on canvas. I tend to let raw canvas show through in order to unite the viewer with my process. I contrast thick acrylic layers with raw or tinted canvas to showcase the luxury of physical media in a technological world. All of my work is self-reflective and carry elements of self-portraiture as painted feelings I want to share with the world. A poet at heart, another common element of my work is stream of consciousness word play, often ambiguously tied to the feelings represented in my art.
